LL Bean Summer Concert Series Schedule!

The 2009 LL Bean Summer Concert Series Schedule is here! As always, concerts are free, but subject to cancellation due to weather. Don't forget to bring your lawn chair and get it set-up right after breakfast to get the best seats. (We recommend eating at 8 AM, Freeporters are quick on the draw to get their chairs set-up!)

Concerts in 2009 start on June 27. The last concert is on Sept 6. The list...

• June 27: Madeleine Peyroux (Special opening performer)
  
• July 4: Patty Loveless - Country
  
• July 11: Dan Zanes & friends - Family music (4:30 PM and 7:30 PM)
  
• July 18: Matt Dusk - Swing jazz
  
• July 25: Punch Brothers featuring Chris Thile - Contemporary bluegrass
  
• Aug 1: Blues Traveler
  
• Aug 8: Dar Williams
  
• Aug 15: Wallflowers (Special opening perfomer)
  
• Aug 22: Maine Songwriter's Festival (Carol Noonan, Ellis Paul & Slaid Cleaves)
  
• Aug 29: Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience
  
• Sept 5: Eileen Ivers & Immigrant Soul- Celtic Fiddle
• Sept 6: Asleep at the Wheel (Sunday concert)
  

All concerts start at 7:30 PM in Discovery Park at LL Bean. Saturday nights, except where noted. White Cedar Inn is 2 blocks from Discovery Park, and easy walk!

Last summer was a terrific line-up and everyone had a great time. Hope to see you this summer!
