Valentine's Day Treat

Here's a quick little something to make for your kids, your spouse, yourself on Valentine's Day!

Heart shaped French Toast -

To make:

Use any French Toast batter you like. You can change up the flavor by changing the, vanilla, almond, etc. (Sample FT batter: 2 eggs, splash of milk, dash of cinnamon & sugar, splash of vanilla extract, whisk together.)

This works best if the bread is cold so store in the fridge the night before to make it easier to cut out the hearts.

Using a heart-shaped cookie cutter that's close to the size of the bread, cut out as many hearts as you'd like. (Save the extra bread for croutons or stuffing.)

Dip the hearts into the batter on both sides and fry up on a griddle or in a frying pan. Flip once, fry and plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, add raspberries, drizzle with chocolate, serve.

They are just so dang cute!
